Retinal Thickness Analysis
We offer retinal mapping to all of our patients. This is a valuable tool in detecting glaucoma, macular degeneration and many other disease that affect the eye. If your insurance plan does not cover this important test we only charge $45.00 for the testing and a copy of the report for your records.
Humphrey Visual Field
Visual field testing is important in detecting and managing glaucoma and neurologic conditions that affect the eye and visual field. We offer this test for $40.00.
Arctic Macular Risk Genetic Testing
A simple swab of the inside of your cheeks call tell you your risk of developing vision loss from macular degeneration as well as which supplements will help reduce your risk. Most insurance providers cover the cost of the genetic test while we only charge $30.00 to collect the sample then provide the results and counseling at a return visit a few weeks later.
On Site Optical Lab
Our fully equipped lab is able to produce most finished prescriptions on site. This ensures high quality products and rapid turn around. Many insurance companies require that patients order glasses through their own contracted labs.
Pre-LASIK Evaluation
Our doctors are skilled at evaluating your eyes to determine if you are a candidate for LASIK, LASEK, or any number of other procedures to correct your vision. We will be happy to then direct you to a skilled surgeon to perform the procedure. Follow up care can then be done in our office for your convenience.
